Pennsylvania Public Natural Resources Trust (PennsWoodsTrust)
Over 50 years ago, we the people of Pennsylvania declared our public natural resources to be held in trust through Article I, Section 27 of our state constitution.
We directed our state and local government officials to conserve and maintain these trust assets for us and for future generations.
Yet today many of our government trustees routinely take actions that affect our public natural resources without fulfilling their fiduciary duties under our state constitution.
PennsWoodsTrust is dedicated to helping Pennsylvanians understand their constitutional rights and ensuring our public natural resource trust assets are conserved and maintained now and in the future.
